My animals and I thoroughly enjoyed being there. All of the staff was friendly and kind. My a double room was generous-sized with TV, AC and good air conditioning as advertised. The service was nice throughout my stay. The location offered was quiet and magnificent right by the forest, and Manuel Antonio and Quepos. Furthermore, in the jungle. The restaurant was relatively near the hotel.

I loved my room - huge and reasonably spacious with good air conditioning. The location was magnificent and particularly good, for example, St Paul's Church was just a short walk away from the hotel.

May I just say that my recent stay at Hotel Cafe Del Mar, En Valle Pura Vida was absolutely delightful! My purpose for traveling was to explore the beautiful wildlife in the area, and I couldn't have chosen a better place. The hotel is nestled in a peaceful location off the main road, ensuring a quiet and serene atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The shared kitchen was well-equipped with two spacious fridges, allowing us to easily store our groceries. And the best part? We saw more wildlife at the hotel than we did at the nearby park! Monkeys, sloths, and even Macaws graced us with their presence, making our stay truly unforgettable. With its convenient proximity to the park and restaurants, this hotel is a perfect choice for nature lovers like myself.

My only regret is that I do recommend this hotel.

We really appreciated their warm hospitality. the location was perfect - situated between two popular destinations, making it easy to explore both places during our stay.

That the hotel was a bit far from the beach and other attractions. We had to rely on taxis or walk on a dark, unlit road at night, which was not ideal.

Although not close to the beach, it is easily accessible by bus. the rooms are spacious with functioning AC and clean bedsheets. the outdoor kitchen facilities are convenient to use, and the pool is well-maintained. the strong WiFi connection is reliable, particularly in Room 7.

The hotel lacks nearby restaurants or supermarkets, requiring guests to take buses to Quepos or Manuel Antonio for food and supplies.

We had a great time at Cafe Del Mar, En Valle Pura Vida. The owners, Marina and Junior, were incredibly friendly and treated us like family. They even helped us with transportation to the bus station and the airport, which made our trip much easier. One of the highlights was learning how to cook fish the Costa Rican way in the shared outdoor kitchen with Marina. The location, although not close to the beach as advertised, was still easily accessible by bus. The AC in our room worked perfectly and kept us comfortable throughout our stay. Despite some minor inconveniences, such as noise from the pool area and the barking chihuahua, we enjoyed the green surroundings and the unique terraces scattered around the property. I would recommend this hotel for its friendly owners, convenient amenities, and the opportunity to experience Costa Rican hospitality.
